Re-reading books?
Helloooo book lovers! It's been too long since I've posted a blog but I am SO busy between being a mama, wife (to a hubby who works insane, long hours), and grad school.. oh AND writing/editing my book, it barely leaves time to blog. But I'm making time right now as I lay beside my sleeping toddler, about to fall asleep myself.
Okay, first things first... go pick up a copy of Abbi Gline's "Boy South of the Mason Dixon" and start reading. This book rocked my soul. I didn't think I would fall in love with it because I normally don't like when a character has interest in more than one guy, and that was the vibe I got from the synopsis BUT it wasn't what I thought it was. It was amazing. I'm just going to leave it at that. Oh, and Asher is up there with my other "book boyfriends".
Also, do y'all like to re-read books? I normally don't. I usually hate it because I already know what's going to happen but I just re-read a Colleen Hoover book, "Slammed", and it was just as good the second time as it was the first! If you need an easy read, something to just relax you before bed, I recommend re-reading a book. I sometimes get anxious or in over-drive when I read before bed and it's a juicy book...sometimes I just need something simple!
Laslty, I have good news. I am SO close to publishing my first book. I'm gonna go the indie route, it seems faster and more beneficial to me, at this point. I am SO excited for people to read this story. It's a twister and a little shocking. I even shocked myself when I wrote it! Can't wait. I'm actually reading it currently, so I can make sure it's perfect!! I should be finished in the next couple of days!!
Until next time loves.
